Florida moves into PHASE 3 Covid-19 Transition Plan on Public Meetings

PUBLIC MEETING UPDATE

Under Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' plan for the state's recovery from COVID-19, a new Executive Order 20-246 was issued to assist Floridians with the transition into PHASE 3, by providing local government bodies with an additional (one-month) extension period to conduct all public meetings virtually and/or by telephonic means.

Local governmental bodies under this Executive Oder, unless otherwise posted, shall be required to begin holding ALL public meetings "In person" effective November 1, 2020.

The Winter Haven Housing Authority's regularly scheduled Board of Commissioner meetings are held the 4th Thursday of each month, unless otherwise posted.

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the November Board meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at the WHHA Administrative Offices, 2653 Avenue C S.W., Winter Haven, Florida.
