Blended Housing Specialist
The Winter Haven Housing Authority of Winter Haven, Florida seeks an experienced Blended Housing Specialist with knowledge of Public Housing (PH), Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project based Section 8 (PBS8) program or Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will perform Housing Management and Occupancy duties for Housing Choice Voucher, Public Housing, and or Project based Section 8 programs, including verification of eligibility for housing assistance and processing documents in accordance with established WHHA policies and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations. The incumbent is also responsible for annual re-certifications; interim, terminations, rent collections, opening and closing work orders as well as the processing of weekly and monthly reports. The duties illustrate various programs of work performed. The omission of specific statements regarding duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment in association with this position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must have Associate Degree in business, public administration or other related field and or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in HUD housing programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in HCV, PH, PBS8 or LIHTC programs preferred. Must possess an Occupancy Specialist certification, PH/HCV Rent Calculation certification or any other HUD Housing related certifications.
